Chandrababu’s Gudivada visit and his attack on Kodali Nani as “Boothula MLA” has invoked serious reaction from Nani. Nani has fumed back at Chandrababu in his style by dubbing him as “shameless” and “characterless”. Citing the sentiment that TDP had lost in all the elections in Gudivada whenever Chandrababu did his campaign, Kodali Nani said Naidu had not done anything for Gudivada constituency. He also threw an open challenge to Chandrababu to prove that he had done anything for the common people. He said Naidu didn’t even buy a single acre of land for the poor.
“I’ll quit politics if Chandrababu proves that he has done anything for the poor and people in Nimmakuru,” said Kodali Nani. He said it is Nandamuri Hari Krishna who had donated 14 crore from the funds of MP when he was Rajya Sabha MP and donated to Nimmakuru. Nani said it is Sr NTR and Hari Krishna who had really contributed for Nimmakuru. The people of Nimmakuru had felicitated Hari Krishna for his huge donation. It is Hari Krishna who had built houses for the poor in the village.
Interestingly, Nani also heaped praises on Jr NTR by stating that the RRR actor showered his love on Nimmakuru. He said it is Jr NTR who installed NTR’s statue in the village. He said Jr NTR had bought 25 acres of land in the village. Nani asked why Chandrababu did not even install a statue of NTR in Nimmakuru for 8 long years.
Kodali Nani said Sr NTR had real love towards Nimmakuru. He said Hari Krsihna used to visit the village once every 10 days. Nani said Chandrababu has no right to claim the legacy of Sr NTR. He said all of them had sold their properties in Nimmakuru and left NTR’s native village.
