Naidu Should Adopt Jagan’s Strategy

TDP supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu is 70 plus but he is very active, and the public wants him to be more active. Even at the ripe age, he still is taking up padayatras.

Recently, he led a padayatra in East and West Godavari districts for four days. Why should he walk and strain himself at this age is the moot question. In fact, he should make his party leaders do all the work at this age sending a message that it is for the TDP leaders, by the TDP leaders and of the TDP leaders, says political observers.

They suggest that Naidu should follow YCP boss and Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy in this aspect. For eight months, Jagan continued walking and mingled with the public. He alone put in all the efforts to bring his party to power.

However, after coming to power, there are allegations that Jagan is not moving out of his Tadepalli palace. Despite severe criticism, he does not move out of his camp office but ensures that everything is done by sitting in his chair itself.

During his padayatra, he could have told his party leaders not to accompany him but now, he is making them go door-to-door as part of Maa Nammakam Nuvve Jagan and Gadapa Gadapaku campaigns.

This means he believes that the party will be able to strengthen at the ground level if the party leaders do the campaigning. It will be better if Naidu also adopted the same strategy, feel political observers.

If Naidu alone is proactive, his party leaders will have a feeling that their boss alone would stress himself and do something for the upcoming elections and they will be in a stress-free mode, they added.
