Internal Fights Pushing BJP From 2nd To 3rd Place!

Over the last couple of weeks, reports of internal conflicts within the Telangana BJP are making headlines. Some media reports suggest that T-BJP chief Bandi Sanjay is likely to be shown the exit doors and new face would be leading the party in the Assembly elections.

Apparently it’s Huzurabad MLA Etela Rajender who is making moves to outset Bandi Sanjay and he has been holding continuous talks with seniors and upset leaders of T-BJP. Earlier this week, Etela Rajender had flown down to Delhi and met some seniors in the BJP national leadership and discussed about the state BJP affairs. The outcome of this meeting hit the headlines that the national leadership is planning to replace Bandi Sanjay.

On Saturday morning mainstream Telugu media started reporting that DK Aruna might be the new T-BJP chief and current chief Bandi Sanjay might be pushed to Delhi to be part of Union cabinet. The reports further added that Etela Rajender who is currently the in-charge of new inductions in the party, would get promotion as the chief of party campaign in Telangana.

These developments within the Telangana BJP have let down the cadre. The party activists opine that BJP has leaped forward in the last couple of years but just before the elections, these conflicts would downgrade the morale.

Political analysts say that having displayed sheer aggression all these years, BJP almost grabbed the second position in Telangana and with latest happenings in the party, BJP slipped to third position which is its own fault. The analysts suggested that with less time in hand, BJP should lay more focus on poll strategies to counter the BRS, else the party would meet the same fate as 2019.
