Ever since Chandrababu Naidu was arrested on 9th September, there has been a lot of hullabaloo over the issue in the media. Naidu’s bail got rejected and he was sent to judicial remand for 14 days. While there are several stories which are in circulation in social media since Naidu’s arrest, here is another interesting version that is doing the rounds in the pro-TDP circles.
It is strongly buzzed in some closed TDP circles that Naidu is aware of his arrest in advance. It is heard that 10 days before his arrest, Naidu got to learn a tip-off about his arrest. Five days prior to his arrest, Naidu himself openly stated that he would be arrested soon. Naidu’s public statement on his arrest is adding a lot of gravity to these rumours which are spreading like wild-fire. Then, why did Naidu get arrested?
Naidu is named as A-37 (Accused 37) by the AP CID in the skill development case. All those who were named as the Accused in the case before Naidu have got anticipatory bail. Then how come Naidu, who is buzzed to have so many contacts legally, couldn’t acquire an Anticipatory Bail before his arrest when he got to know about his arrest 10 days in advance.
TDP leaders and activists are claiming that this is Naidu’s Chanakya move. Chandrababu is reportedly of the opinion that his arrest will get a huge mileage politically to the TDP and his allies. Naidu wants to touch the masses with his arrest and bring a movement among people ahead of the 2024 polls. Many in TDP believe this is Chanakya move from seasoned politician Chandrababu Naidu.
