Just In: Chandrababu Moves Supreme Court

After AP High Court rejected Chandrababu Naidu’s quash petition against the FIR on Skill Development Scam case, the TDP chief and former CM has moved the Supreme Court. The High Court stated that it can’t quash the case since the investigation is underway. The high court stated that it can’t intervene when the investigation is still ongoing. Challenging the High Court orders, Naidu’s advocates have moved the Apex Court. Supreme Court Advocate Sidharth Luthra and Former Solicitor General Harish Salve are representing Chandrababu Naidu in the case.

The advocates may request the Supreme Court to admit the case on Monday and also seeking to quash the CID custody provided by the ACB court. Chandrababu’s advocates may take up the matter directly with the Chief Justice of Supreme Court, say reports. With this, the heat of AP politics has now shifted to New Delhi. Already, TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh is in Delhi.

Chandrababu has been alleging that he was wrongly arrested. TDP argues that it is an act of political vengeance. Now, all eyes are on the Supreme Court’s decision and when it will take up the case and what will be the final outcome. With each passing day, Chandrababu’s case has become a hot topic in national politics.
