AP Tourism Minister Roja Selvamani reacted for the first time to unpleasant comments made by TDP senior leader Bandaru Satyanarayana. The TDP leader was arrested amid high drama at his residence. Roja questioned his broughtup for making such hateful and cheap allegations against her.
Today, Roja in her live press meet got emotional about the crude comments made by TDP leader Bandaru. Roja vented her frustration on why a woman in public life should face character assassination. Pledging to slap a defamation suit against Bandaru and fight for justice, Roja further denounced the TDP leaders for their discrimination towards women.
Roja said Bandaru started his mudslinging comments when she condemned TDP’s comments against YS Jagan in Chandrababu’s arrest issue. She asks them to go to court and prove that they have not done anything wrong.
Further alleging that Chandrababu himself disrespects women, Roja also mentions the names of TDP leaders Chintamaneni, Acham Naidu, Balakrishna, and Nara Lokesh for their past comments and acts.
In an emotional yet intense Tweet, Roja questioned the National Media outlets whether they want to support individuals like Bandaru, who believe that any woman in public life or the workplace has a questionable character.
