Jagan Begins Election Work With Big YCP Gathering

The scheduled high-level gathering of YSRCP leaders at Indira Gandhi Stadium in Vijayawada on October 9 has gained significant importance.

Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister, is set to address a substantial audience of 8,000 YSRCP leaders, ranging from constituency to mandal levels. This inclusive assembly will encompass party mandal presidents, ZPTCs, MPPs, along with members from affiliated party wings and market yard chairpersons.

During this gathering, the Chief Minister will engage with party leaders, providing them with directives on how to navigate upcoming elections and effectively communicate the government’s welfare initiatives to the public. The central focus of this meeting will be the imperative slogan, “Why AP Needs Jagan.”

Sources suggest that this meeting primarily centers around the existing political climate in the state, particularly in the wake of TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest.

While there are rumors suggesting that Jagan may allude to early elections, close sources indicate that this meeting is aimed at preparing the cadre and leaders for the 2024 assembly elections, dispelling notions of early elections.

Jagan intends to caution leaders on how to achieve the target of 175 seats and issue stern warnings to underperforming party members.

Additionally, discussions will encompass the performance of the social media team and ground-level party workers.
