YS Vijayamma met a famous Siddhanti Addepalli Hanumantha Rao in Ongole the other day. Reportedly, Vijayamma is seeking divine blessings for her daughter YS Sharmila’s political career.
Vijayamma has huge belief in Siddhanti Addepalli. For the past few years, she has met Siddhanti Hanumantha Rao on several occasions specially during the elections.
With the Telangana elections announced and YS Sharmila’s YSR Telangana Party is going to contest all 119 Assembly constituencies, Vijayamma met Siddhanti at his house and also sought remedies. As part of it, Vijayamma performed a special pooja for Goddess Rajarajeshwari at Ammavari Peetham for three hours. Vijayamma’s pooja has gained importance in the background of Sharmila’s Telangana election contest.
It is learnt that Vijayamma and Sharmila sought some auspicious dates and muhurat from Siddhanti to announce the Assembly candidates of YSRTP. It is said that a few dates have been considered for the announcement of candidates. It also seems that Sharmila had a discussion with Siddhanti about her political future.
There is strong buzz that both Sharmila and Vijayamma are going to contest from Telangana. In this backdrop, Vijayamma’s pooja gained a lot of significance. Her efforts to merge the party into the Congress have failed. So, she is back to contesting alone. It has to be seen how Sharmila’s party would fare in the upcoming elections.
It can be noted that there is a wide gap between AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy and his sister YS Sharmila. Mother YS Vijayamma is vouching for her daughter Sharmila who wants to stand on her own feet by testing her luck in Telangana politics. Will Sharmila make an impact in Telangana elections?
