KCR Temple Up For Sale!!

Gunda Ravinder, who admired Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao during the separate Telagnana movement, built a small temple at his residence in Dhandepalli in 2016. Since then, he had been praying to KCR’s statue. However, due to lack of support from the BRS boss, now, Ravinder has put up the temple for sale.

According to information, Ravinder, a member of the Arya Vysya community, was enchanted by the activities of the BRS during the separate statehood movement. Displaying his admiration towards KCR, he built a small temple in front of his house spending Rs 2 lakh.

Now, Ravinder feels he is being ignored by the Mancherial BRS MLA N. Diwakar Rao and hence, decided to put the temple up for sale.

Further, Ravinder lamented that he felt slighted when BRS leaders did not attend the temple inauguration, despite his invitation.

He said that he had invited BRS leaders including MLC K Kavitha and Mancherial district leaders for the temple inauguration.

Ravinder recalled that he had good rapport with KCR during the Telangana movement but said he was disappointed after his attempts to contact the CM at Pragathi Bhavan and Telangana Bhavan remained unsuccessful.

Now, the sale of KCR temple would send wrong signals to the electorate as there are chances of thinking that the CM is not respecting the Telagnana sentiment, based on which separate Telagnana was carved out and also not taking measures to undo ‘injustice’ done to the Telanganites with respect to ‘Neellu, Nidhulu and Niyamakalu’.

It is likely that it could have an adverse impact on the BRS in the upcoming elections.
