Meet The Two Youngest MLAs In Congress

Telangana Congress is goring great guns in today’s counting as the party is in a position of power and will be forming the government without any turbulence considering its steady lead in the numbers game.

An interesting observation in this year’s election is that Congress managed to pull up two unlikely giant killers who are aged just 26.

Congress’s Mynampally Rohith Rao has won against Padma Devireddy from Medak. He is aged just 26 and managed to defeat veteran Padma Reddy in his very first election. His father Mynampally Hanumantha Rao lost from Malkajgiri though.

Another 26-year-old from Congress managed to cause a huge upset and it is Yeshaswini Reddy who defeated six-time MLA and outgoing minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao in Palakurthy. Congress has created history in Telangana by having two of the youngest MLAs in the state’s electoral history.
