Revanth Reddy’s “Siksha” To BRS MLAs In Assembly

Telangana assembly sessions have started off on an entertaining premise with a heated exchange between BRS and Congress. This assembly session has a unique vibe as this is the firs time since formation of Telangana that BRS is in opposition and Congress is in power. New CM Revanth Reddy has started his mark verbal attack in the assembly.

BRS MLAs kept raising chants against Revanth and threatened to walk out of assembly while Revanth was speaking in the assembly. The CM then had an interesting reaction to this incident as he pointed out the lackluster administration of BRS in the last 9 years.

“BRS MLAs have no other option. I will continue to talk and they will have to listen to it. I won’t let any of them go out of the assembly till I’m done. I request the speaker not to let them out. My intention is to bring a change and sense of responsibility in them by presenting the hard facts about their administration and rubbing it on their face. This is my ‘Siksha'(punishment) to them” Revanth said in the assembly.

When newly-election first time MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy tried to abrupt Revanth’s speech, the speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar schooled him quickly. “Kaushik garu this is your first time in the assembly. When the leader of the house(Revanth) speaks, you have to respect it and listen.” The whole session was carried in a professional manner by the Congress and the new speaker of the house, Prasad Kumar.
