What Naidu Told TDP Seniors In Important Meeting?

Telugu Desam Party president Chandrababu Naidu is in action again after announcing the maiden MLA list comprising 94 candidates. There were some big exclusions in the list as many TDP seniors had not featured in it. But Naidu didn’t leave much scope for speculation as he called these seniors for a meeting at his Undavalli residence today and discussed the existing scenario.

Alapati Raja, Peela Govinda, Boddu Venkataramana, Ganta Srinivasa Rao, and Devineni Uma were amongst others who sat down for individual meetings with Naidu today.

Naidu reportedly explained to Alapati Raja about having to give Tenali MLA ticket to Janasena as a part of the alliance and the senior leader assured Naidu that he respects the party’s decision. He later met Nara Lokesh and reportedly revealed that he understands the alliance equations and holds nothing against the high command.

Peela Govind, who was TDP’s favorite to get Anakapalle MP ticket, met Chandrababu along with Ayyannapatrudu and he was also assured a respectable position in the alliance government. Naidu explained about giving this seat to JSP and Peela acknowledged the point.

Rajanagaram TDP in-charge Boddu Venkataramana was told he might get Rajahmundry MP ticket or another alternative as this ticket was given to Janasena.

Devineni Uma also didn’t feature in the first list and he too was told the party will consider the best possible alternative for him later.

Ganta Srinivasa Rao expressed that the high command asked him to go to Cheepurapalli while he fancies his chances in Bheemili. “Chandrababu told me(Ganta) I would win from anywhere and he said he wants to use my according to the party’s gains. I am thankful for the confidence placed in me.”
