Kakinada MP? A Cake Walk For Pawan

After an unsuccessful stint from Bhimavaram and Gajuwaka in 2019, Pawan Kalyan appears to be extremely determined to have a triumphant campaign in 2024. The latest media reports are of the implication that Pawan has changed his candidacy plan for the coming election.

According to the reports, Pawan Kalyan is likely to contest from the Kakinada Lok Sabha constituency in 2024. He could be taking the plunge from assembly election to Lok Sabha election.

Coming to the equations in Kakinada, YCP’s Vanga Geetha won from here in 2019 by polling 5.37 lakh votes while TDP’s Chalamalasetty Sunil polled 5.11 lakh votes. JSP’s Jyothula Venkateswara Rao polled 1.32 lakh votes.

The cumulative votes of TDP+JSP is 6.43 lakh. And there will be the unfathomable anti-incumbency working against YCP. If we add the caste equations and crowd pull of Pawan Kalyan to the equation, if a proper vote transfer can be implemented, a win from the Kakinada MP seat should be a cakewalk for Pawan Kalyan.

Pawan’s stamina and other factors in Kakinada should ensure an easy win for him against YCP candidate Chalamalasetty Sunil who was previously with TDP.
