The ruling party YSR Congress put an end to the wait on the MLA and MP candidates for the election as the finalized list was announced in the presence of Jagan Mohan Reddy today.
Two of the most relieved leaders after the announcement of this list would be Nagiri MLA Roja and Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi.
There were countless media speculations that Roja might not retain the Nagiri MLA ticket as it was heard that she might be shifted to some other constituency or she might not even be given any ticket for that matter. Luckily for Roja, she managed to keep ahold of the Nagiri MLA ticket, as announced by the YSR Congress today.
Vallabhaneni Vamsi is nowhere to be seen in the AP political scene for the last few weeks and suspicions arose about his place in Gannavaram’s election battle. His group was anxious if YSR Congress would give him the ticket or if he would lose the berth as a part of Jagan’s shuffling plan.
In the end, Vallabhaneni Vamsi turned out to be just as lucky as Roja as he also managed to keep his Gannavaram MLA ticket. For the first time in his political career, he is not contesting on TDP ticket from Gannavaram as he has taken the YCP oath this term.
Roja and Vamsi have cleared the first step of getting the YCP tickets but the most important thing is for them to win the electoral battle which is the real deal here.
