Chandrababu Serious On Bharat’s ‘Lokesh CM’ Remarks!

Enthusiasm is good, but timing and context are equally important. Without considering the sensitivity of the coalition government and other factors, some TDP members are displaying unnecessary overenthusiasm. This behavior recently drew the ire of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

Chandrababu was reportedly displeased with the comments made by AP Minister TG Bharat during the European Telugu Diaspora event held in Zurich. Bharat had declared Lokesh as the “future Chief Minister,” which prompted Chandrababu to reprimand him after the event.

Urging ministers to act responsibly, Chandrababu advised, “Why are we here? Do you even know what you’re saying? Are such remarks about Lokesh becoming CM necessary in this context? We’re here in Davos to attract investments for the state, not to make such statements.”

During the event, TG Bharat had remarked, “Whether anyone likes it or not, Lokesh is the future leader and the next Chief Minister of our party.” This comment came just days after party members had pushed for Lokesh to be made Deputy CM, a demand that Chandrababu had explicitly discouraged, instructing members to avoid such discussions.

Bharat’s statement has since become a topic of controversy. To address this, Chandrababu gave TG Bharat a stern warning, firmly instructing him to refrain from making similar comments in the future.
