YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy appears to be desperately harbouring dreams about returning to power in the next term. Just like how he used to stay under the delusion that his party would be in power forever during the last five years, he is now once again projecting that he would be back as CM again and hold the seat for the next 30 years.
Addressing YSRCP corporators meeting in Vijayawada today, Jagan made these sensational comments and also admitted that he ignored the party cadre during his first tenure as Chief Minister. He stated that Jagan 2.0 would be unlike the previous term and will entirely focus on upliftment of cadre.
Jagan claimed that he completely focused on the welfare of the people during 2019-2024 and expressed regret for not doing much to his supporters. He alleged that YCP cadre has been suffering very much under the current regime and assured them justice as per the law once he returns to power.
“Jagan 2.0 would be entirely different. In my previous term, I always strived for the people and concentrated on fulfilling the promises made to them. In this process, I neglected the cadre. After seeing the hardships of the cadre, I decided to stand in support for all”, he asserted.
Jagan further alleged that TDP and Congress leaders filed wrong cases and jailed him for 16 months only to destroy his political career. He told his cadre that the NDA coalition came to power with fake promises under the Super Six scheme during the elections and claimed that he always stood by values and credibility in politics.
He further criticized the government for failing to live up to the expectations in these 9 months and expressed confidence on returning to power whenever elections are going to be held.
