After the safari, Modi will also chair the seventh meeting of the National Board for Wildlife (NBWL), at Sasan Gir, the headquarters of Gir Wildlife Sanctuary. The Centre has implemented a “Project Lion” in the Gir Sanctuary for the conservation of Asiatic lions, as it is the only place for them in the country.
