Amidst the tensions between India and Pakistan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation today at 8 PM. So far, the government diplomats and the army officials have interacted with the media. Finally, Modi is coming to address the nation, regarding Operation Sindoor.
The other day, Pakistan and India agreed to a ceasefire, but Pakistan went ahead to launch air strikes. The army officials have responded tightly to it with strict warnings at a press meet.
India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7 to destroy nine terror infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied-Kashmir. It is India’s response to Pakistan for the Pahalgam terror attack.
Already, this morning, Modi chaired a high-level meeting, which included Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. NSA Ajit Doval, Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan, and all three service chiefs attended the meeting.
