There is no debating that Nandamuri Balakrishna is one of the most outspoken public representatives in Andhra Pradesh. He does not mince words when expressing his opinions. He did the same in the Assembly recently, speaking about the time when Jagan allegedly mistreated Chiranjeevi, albeit with harsh words.
It appears that Balakrishna’s speech seriously triggered YS Jagan, as the YCP chief hit back at Balayya in front of the media today.
“What is the purpose of Balakrishna’s presence in the Assembly, and what kind of statement did he make? He had consumed alcohol and was intoxicated while coming to the Assembly. It is the Speaker’s fault for allowing a drunk person to speak in the Assembly,” Jagan said.
Jagan further questioned Balakrishna’s psychological state, claiming he came to the Assembly intoxicated and spoke incoherently.
While Jagan’s frustration with Balakrishna may be understandable, his claim that Balayya was intoxicated before entering the Assembly has sparked discussion. This is not the kind of verbal retort expected from a former Chief Minister.
Recently, Jagan also made a controversial allegation against Chandrababu, claiming that Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy had physically hit Babu during college. Now, he is back with a similar claim, alleging that Balakrishna entered the Assembly under the influence of alcohol. Neutral observers say the level of personal attacks and character assassination is reaching unprecedented heights.
