After getting absolutely tormented and dissipated in the previous YCP government’s tenure, the capital project of Amaravati is shining in all its glory now. Charge Chandrababu-led Government is fully committed to developing Amaravati as solitary capital and related activities are happening briskly.
Incidentally, CM Chandrababu took part in the foundation ceremony for the expansion works of Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Venkata Palem in the capital. The Foundation stone laying ceremony for the works to be undertaken in two phases with Rs.260 crores was held in a grand manner in the presence of several dignitaries.
On the occasion, Chandrababu stated that the Almighty Venkateshwara gave the state the opportunity to develop Amaravati into a godly capital. He labelled Amaravati as the place of almighty and greatness as he attributed a divine soul and spirit to the region which historically held spiritual sanctity.
In this context, it is now being established that today is going to be a crucial day for Amaravati farmers as CM will be interacting with them this evening. He will collect feedback on the land acquisitions and development activities and explain the farmers the blueprint for the forthcoming implementations.
Earlier, to find solutions for the farmers issues, union minister Pemmasani Chandrashekar met Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Dr Narayana, Principal Secretary Suresh Kumar IAS, and CRDA Commissioner Kannababu.
In this meeting, they discussed clear action plans based on the ground reality and in line with government guidelines for the development of Amaravati project.
We are finalising a time bound action plan on issues like assigned lands, plot distribution, TDR bonds, and road development. Our goal is to complete all basic infrastructure within the next six months and move forward with that target, Chandrasekhar said.
There is some rapid moment happening with regard to Amaravati farmers issues resolvement and also the social infrastructure development activities.
