Babu Calls TDP & Janasena To Walk For Vajpayee

The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu calls on the Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee in New Delhi on December 15, 2003 (Monday).

CM Chandrababu Naidu held a teleconference with NDA ministers, MPs, MLAs, and MLCs, asking them to take part in the Atal Sandesh Modi Suparipaalana Yatra from the eleventh to the twenty fifth of this month. He said the programme is meant to remind people of the values of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and the good governance being continued today by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Naidu appreciated the BJP for planning this event and said it would inspire the youth. He asked leaders from all three alliance parties to join the programme and make it successful. He described Vajpayee as a respected national leader who rose from a simple background and led the country with maturity and strength.

Naidu recalled key achievements during Vajpayee’s rule, including the Pokhran nuclear tests, the Kargil response, and the Golden Quadrilateral highway project. He said he personally shared a strong working relationship with Vajpayee and that the former Prime Minister always supported Andhra Pradesh when needed.

Naidu compared the governance style of N T Rama Rao and Vajpayee, saying both believed in strong, people friendly administration. He added that the NDA government today is following the same approach with major national reforms.

He said Prime Minister Modi aims to make India the number one nation by 2047 and is motivating the younger generation to aim higher. Naidu requested all alliance leaders to fully support the Atal Sandesh Modi Suparipaalana Yatra and show unity within the NDA.
