Janasena Reacts to MLA Video: Committee Formed, One Week Deadline

Despite being founded on strong moral principles laid down by Pawan Kalyan, Janasena has often found itself in controversies due to the actions of some of its leaders. Now, it is the turn of Janasena Railway Koduru MLA Arava Sridhar, who has landed in a serious controversy over allegations of exploiting and abusing a woman.

On Sunday, the YCP released a set of videos allegedly showing the MLA in a compromising position. This triggered a political storm and led to widespread anticipation over how Pawan Kalyan and the Janasena leadership would respond.

According to the latest communication from Janasena, the party has decided to form a three member committee to look into the matter. The MLA has been asked to appear before this committee within seven days and explain his side of the story.

The Janasena leadership has also instructed the Railway Koduru MLA to stay away from party activities until the committee completes its inquiry and a final decision is taken.

For now, the party has chosen not to suspend the MLA immediately. Instead, it has decided to verify the facts and complete the investigation within a week before taking further action.
