TDP Finds A New Firebrand Woman Leader

Galla Madhavi, who won from Guntur West Assembly constituency in the 2024 elections on behalf of TDP, is slowly emerging as a strong voice in the party. In her very first attempt, she defeated former minister Vidadala Rajini and entered the Assembly with a solid victory.

Until now, Madhavi spoke carefully and only when necessary. She used to appear before the media only on specific issues and maintained a composed tone. But things changed after controversial remarks were made against Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu by Ambati Rambabu.

After Ambati’s daughter Mounika alleged that an attack on their house happened under the leadership of Madhavi and her husband, Madhavi responded strongly. Without losing control or using harsh language, she gave a sharp counter. She questioned not only Ambati and his daughter but also criticized Jagan and YCP leaders for what she called five years of misrule.

Madhavi made it clear that public welfare is her main focus and she does not have time for unnecessary fights. However, she said when a sitting Chief Minister is targeted with such comments, remaining silent would send a wrong message to party workers and the public. She stated that they tolerated many things in the past, but staying quiet now would not be right.

She also warned YCP leaders to avoid such remarks in the future, saying they would not ignore it again. Speaking as a woman from Guntur, she made it clear that strong responses will continue if needed.

In her today’s press meet, the way Madhavi spoke, the confidence she showed, and her clarity in responding to criticism impressed many TDP leaders and cadre. With her strong voice and sharp arguments, it looks like TDP may have found a future firebrand woman leader.
