Revanth Plans ‘HYDRAA’ Style Crackdown on Food Adulteration

Under the leadership of Telangana, chief minister, Revanth Reddy, the vigilance and tracking departments of the Hyderabad Police have been amplified over the last couple of years.

While the government and enforcement authorities have been cracking down on drug peddling and consumption activities, HYDRAA has been acting against illegal land encroachments.

Now, the Revanth Reddy government has shifted focused on something extremely important and time sensitive, and this time it is regarding the food adulteration prospect.

In the recent past, there have been countless cases of food contamination, and lack of hygiene at the food outlets across Hyderabad. The task force that has been commissioned to track the same has been raiding several eateries and also commercial establishments across the city that supply ginger garlic pastes, oils, and other ingredients.

In general, it is being established that the task force raids have exposed the blatant lack of safety and hygiene in food preparations in Hyderabad.

Now, chief minister Revanth Reddy has stated in his interaction with Media that he would soon be enforcing a full fledged operation like HYDRAA and Eagle to counter food adulteration. This team will work on the lines of other law enforcement authorities, and carry out strong anti adulteration at eateries.

This is very much the need of the hour in Hyderabad city and also other parts of Telangana as food safety has become a joke for many establishments these days. Once the associate team starts penalising and seizing these shady hotels and restaurants, a better service can be excepted to the public.
