South Indian politics have historically observed a pattern where several cinema superstars, actually enter politics and test their luck here. Not many of them have been successful in attaining glory, but Pawan Kalyan is one such rare exception.
In the meanwhile, we have the case of Tamil Nadu actor Thalapathy Vijay, who is contesting the upcoming assembly election on the behalf of his TVK party. While he has been actively participating in the election campaign across the state, the actual outcome and public mood is in question here.
Interestingly, enough, this point was brought to discussion in front of AP deputy CM Pawan Kalyan as he interacted with Gen Z folk the other day. The video footage of this interaction was released recently, and here is what Kalyan had to say and asked about the political future of Thalapathy Vijay.
Kalyan was very straightforward and sharp with his reaction on this matter, as he said “I generally don’t give advices to anyone. Everyone is capable of doing things but when it comes to Mr. Vijay, he is a very big star, I think It’s great to serve the people with whatever role he’s into.”
The deputy CM made a very calculated comment as he did not project great things for Vijay just for the sake of it and at the same time, he did not even demoralise him or his party supporters either. He was very sharp with his reaction and rightly so as well.
Previously, there were rumours about Kalyan, potentially negotiating an alliance between BJP and Thalapathy Vijay. However, Kalyan confirmed that he had not even interacted with Vijay in a decade now, let alone negotiate a poltical alliance with NDA.
