Sai Reddy Left Jagan, But Not Hate For Amaravati!

Former YSR Congress politician and a dear right hand for YS Jagan, Vijaya Sai Reddy is no longer active in politics as he alleged Jagan’s coterie pushed him away from the YCP boss. While Sai Reddy might have left Jagan’s political party, he appears to be still holding the typical mindset of his former boss.

This is reflecting in the latest post from Sai Reddy regarding Amaravati as he clearly projected a stand that’s close to YCP’s vehement agenda against the capital area.

Sai Reddy tweeted Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai took hundreds of years to materialise and Amaravati cannot be manufactured overnight with borrowed money and grand illusions, especially when it is not self-financing as claimed.

Sai Reddy suggested the NDA government to buildthe basics first, Assembly, Secretariat, High Court, and essential housing for government employees and stop there.

He stated “Let Amaravati grow organically with people, business, and time. A capital city must rise from strength, not debt. Indiscriminate spending on fancy designs and oversized infrastructure is not vision; it is financial recklessness.

Every unwarranted rupee spent today becomes a burden on the people of Andhra Pradesh tomorrow. Loans for non-revenue-generating projects do not build prosperity, they strain public finances. Governance requires functionality, not vanity architecture.”

At a time when Chandrababu and his NDA government have been repeatedly, saying Amaravati is a self financing project, Sai Reddy created a narrative to call it a fiscally irresponsible project.

While the incumbent government is doing everything in its power to legislate the capital region and bring investment, the previous YCP group which played games with three capital has the audacity to speak against the capital now, an anguished social media user posted.
