CM Babu’s Big Plan: India Can Counter China If It Happens!

Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu is widely regarded for his visionary skills and ambitious thinking ahead of others, which made him what he is today. Now he is coming up with an interesting plan with regard to the rare earth minerals depository in Andhra Pradesh.

Considering that the central government had stated, they would be encouraging rare earth mineral resources across the coastal regions, Andhra Pradesh Government is making a big push for the same.

Apparently, the Chandrababu government is aiming for around ₹50,000 crore investment in their rare earth mineral extraction and purification drive over the next decade.

The government of Andhra Pradesh is making a significant push towards rare earth metal corridors across its coastal line which is the biggest for any state in the country. This would naturally invite the interest of the union government as well.

Incidentally, India had been increasingly dependent on China for procurement of rare earth minerals. This dependency can be largely cut down if India can find a new resource in the form of the coastal regions of Andhra Pradesh.

This ambitious push from the government would require adequate, financial and machinery support from the union government, and once that is secured, AP could be producing earth, minerals, and permanent magnets which are crucial for industrial boost.

If this ambitious attempt from Chandrababu Naidu actually receives adequate help from the central government, it could ultimately help India reduce its dependency on China which is a good thing.
