KCR and KTR have found a new nemesis in the form of Kavita, who is going out to launch a full scale political attack against the BRS and also other leading parties. Now she has stuck the first blow to the BRS party already.
Earlier, last week, Kavita announced that her political party is named TRS, Telangana Rashtra Sena which is a direct poaching of the earlier TRS name used by KCR.
The name change activity committed by the KCR party from TRS to BRS vacated the original TRS name which has been occupied by Kavitha now. She has finally managed to secure this much desired TRS name.
At one point, there were several theories that the election commission might not allow Kavita to use the TRS name, considering that it was in existence for the BRS just a few years ago. A few BRS leaders confidently said the election commission would not permit the usage of TRS name for Kavitha.
However, and what could be considered a significant twist, the election commission has officially granted the TRS name to the Kavitha-led party.
According to the latest reports, the representatives of the election commission had met Kavitaa and confirmed that her party has been allocated the TRS name but with a change Telangana Rakshana Samithi.
This is a significant blow to the BRS ecosystem who has been contemplating the idea of switching back to TRS. Now that Kavitha has occupied this name, the BRS can’t just go back their earlier name but they’ve also handed over a legacy branding name to Kavitha who is still early in her political career.
