Suspended IPS Officer, PV Sunil Kumar gave a Special Interview to leading telugu news channel. In the interview, Host asked if he is getting close to YSR Congress showing the blue coat he is wearing.
Sunil Kumar replied negative saying that that blue is different. He said his blue is Ambedkar Blue and is not YSR Congress’ Blue.
When specifically asked if he worked for YSR Congress for a ticket in 2024 elections, Sunil Kumar said it is not doiffocult to get ticket in Andhra Pradesh.
“Both the parties (TDP and YSR Congress) offered me ticket in 2014, 2019, and 2024. But I said No on all occasions because I do not like those parties. Dalit’s well-being is my only agenda,” he said.
TDP offering Ticket to PV Sunil Kumar is not documented any where. He seems to be bluffing about it to elevate himself and to irritate Raghu Rama Krishna Raju.
The Deputy Speaker has accused PV Sunil Kumar of torturing him in the custody during his arrest in 2021. Sunil Kumar was the CID Additional DGP back then and RRR accused Sunil Kumar of torturing him to please Jagan Mohan Reddy.
RRR appears to be displeased with the long-delayed investigation into Sunil Kumar. This statement seems intended to provoke him further.
In March last year, Sunil Kumar was initially placed under suspension under All India Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules for flouting Service rules. It was extended in February 2026 until June 30, 2026 (his superannuation date) or until the completion of pending criminal cases, whichever is earlier.
Sunil Kumar is building Political narrative with his Ambedkar’s India Mission (AIM) — a social organisation he founded and leads. He advocates for the unity of the Kapu Community and Dalits to capture Power in the state.
It is believed that he will transform his AIM into a Political Party just before the 2029 elections and test his luck.
