On the occasion of senior NTR’s Jayanti today, Telugu Desam supporters are over the moon for multiple reasons. Firstly, it is NTR Jayanti, and secondly, the grand Mahanadu celebrations are happening in Amaravati.
Now, the celebrations are extending to Hyderabad as a statue of legendary NTR is set to be unveiled by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in a grand manner today.
This statue of NTR was originally promised by Revanth Reddy during the Jubilee Hills by election campaign, which eventually proved successful. Now, he is standing by his word as the statue has been installed in the famous Ameerpet area of the city.
The NTR statue is going to be unveiled at Maitrivanam in Ameerpet, which is essentially considered the heart of Hyderabad. The event is scheduled to begin at 6 PM and will be attended by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy along with his cabinet colleague Bhatti Vikramarka and Union Minister Kishan Reddy.
This statue is expected to further cement the legacy of the legendary Telugu personality in the heart of Hyderabad, and it is going to be a pleasant visual for Telugu people.
It takes some political courage from Congress Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to establish a statue of NTR in the heart of Hyderabad despite obvious party differences. But fundamentally, NTR’s legacy goes beyond party lines, and that is clearly on display now.
