The deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan is holding a massive public event in Hyderabad tomorrow in the name of Telangana Sankalpa Sabha. This is a structural formation event for Janasena and Telangana, and is expected to have a significant upswing, considering that JSP has already consolidated its position in AP.
With Kalyan scheduled to take part in this massive political event in Telangana in around 24 hours from now, the early attack has already started from Telangana oriented leader.
First, it was the President of the TRS party, Kalvakuntla Kavitha, who had a mouthful to say about Pawan Kalyan. “ Before Pawan Kalyan comes here, he must first set right the situation in Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh Secretariat lakes water every rainy season and their capital is flooded. They must fix this first before coming to Telangana.”
Kavitha added that it has been 12 years since the formation of Andhra Pradesh, but many of the crucial leaders are still staying in Hyderabad and have their medical checkups here while common public is struggling.
Telangana Congress Minister Ponnam Prabhakar had his own version of the story. He said Pawan Kalyan is a chameleon in politics who can change colours based on the packages that he receives. He called Pawan Kalyan, a puppet for Telangana BJP party.
Ideally, it is the BRS that could have launched the first attack on Pawan Kalyan, considering the obvious differences. But surprisingly, the Congress and TRS were more proactive, launching an all-out attack on the JSP chief.
“They are trying to gain early mileage by criticizing Pawan Kalyan even before he organizes the event,” a political expert remarked.
Crucial sign of political significance is the degree of attack from the opponents, and considering all that has been said by Telangana leaders against Pawan Kalyan, it appears that Kalyan has gained a lot of political mileage in Telangana as well.
