Naga Babu’s Harsh Words Could Hurt Janasena Supporters

The deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan had a tough run to power in 2024 as he went from a bad result in 2019 to hundred percent strike in the next election. So there would have obviously been unseen faces and lesser known leaders behind this remarkable journey, whom only Kalyan would be aware of.

This was on display when the Janasena chief announced that his party is nominating Lingamaneni Ramesh as their Rajya Sabha candidate.

But this decision was almost instantly ridiculed by several JSP leaders and many Janasena supporters, who felt it wasn’t right to ignore so many deserving people in Janasena as they had not even spotted him in party activities, though reportedly Lingamaneni Ramesh was the one who supported Pawan Kalyan through his ups and downs for years. There was a large outburst on the same.

It appears that all the negative criticism has triggered Naga Babu, and he had a sharp reaction to it. “A leader’s word is final. None have seen devils and demons in his path,he alone knows what is right and what is wrong. Shut your doubts, silence your tongue, and follow the leader without questions.” Nagababu posted last night.

Perhaps the intention from Naga Babu is to say that Pawan Kalyan knows the best about how to run the party and it’s his choices which landed JSP in power. But the choice of words that were used including “silence your tongue” lack democratic principal and they’ve invited further criticism.

The fact that Naga Babu is dismissing so much internal revolt and asking everyone to blindly trust Pawan hasn’t gone well with anyone. A situation that required a sensible and understanding post was blown out of proportion by Naga Babu, with his provocative and aggressive approach, which is not what JSP leadership wanted now.
