Mixed Reactions For Donald Trump Avenue In Hyd

Hyderabad is one of the culturally significant and historical rich cities in South India, and it is a beautiful amalgamation of people from all across the country. This diversity creates a pleasant living experience in the city, and we now have a bit of new addition to the same.

Hyderabad has opened up a new road near the United States consulate in the financial district region of the city and this road has been named Donald Trump Avenue.

Incidentally, US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor and Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka jointly unveiled the renaming of the road near the US Consulate in Hyderabad as Donald Trump Avenue.

In a way, this can be considered as a moment of honouring from the Telangana government, marking the 250th anniversary of American Independence. The participation of United States representative in the same shows that the US authorities are also in full approval of the same.

There are indeed a few negative reactions to this topic as a few citizens are pointing out that Trump is making life living hell to Indians by cancelling immigration visas but he’s still getting undue recognition in India.

But nevertheless, this is an ambitious poem from the government of Telangana to do something like this in the heart of the city. But would this be enough to keep Telangana in the good books of US and potentially invite investments? Only time will answer this question.
