Padma Shree Mogilaiah Troubles: Revanth Reddy Must Act quick!

One of the most reputed and culturally significant folk artists from Telangana Darshanam Mogilaiah rose to fame after his contribution to the Bheemla Nayak title song. Pawan Kalyan, who is an artistic exponent himself was moved by the story of this folk artist and extended financial support to him back in the day itself.

This was followed by a significant allocation from the government of Telangana, nearly a couple of years ago, but the promise is not being held up now.

As a recognition of his immense contribution to preserving India’s traditional folk music heritage, Mogilaiah was promised a 600-square-yard residential plot. However, even after two years, he is still struggling to receive the land that was allotted to him.

For the past two years, Mogilaiah has reportedly been moving between government offices and courts in an effort to secure what was promised.
The prolonged legal battle has also placed a heavy financial burden on him, forcing him to borrow nearly ₹9 lakh to cover legal and lawyer expenses. However, the peace of land that was promised to him in the first place has not yet been delivered.

So this naturally brings the expectation on chief minister Revanth Reddy to settle the issue at the earliest and find an amicable solution. Revanth Reddy had already earned the image of being a poor people CM and this legacy will be cemented further if he can settle this issue with this Telangana folk artist.

Social media is absolutely burning on this matter as people are calling for the government authorities to maintain dignity of labour and honour the earlier commitment that was made to the Kinnera instrument artist.
