The bygone Telangana movement is still a sentiment that is used by several politicians even to this day. The bi case is done, and the respective governments have already been instilled but that doesn’t stop certain politicians from raking up the Telangana sentiment again and again.
For instance, we have the case of Kavita, who is currently fighting a political battle for her own party, TRS, who had a very strong comment to make a couple of days ago.
She commented that Telangana students are not going to Andhra Pradesh for studies or jobs, but AP students are happily coming to Hyderabad and doing jobs. She was of the implication that AB students must not be permitted to get jobs in Hyderabad henceforth.
While this problematic statement from Kavita had been going viral for its divisive and regional conflicting in nature, something interesting was shared by Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Lokesh.
Lokesh made it extremely clear that Andhra Pradesh is extremely inclusive in nature, and there is no debate or discussion about the regional priorities here.
“This is exactly the Andhra Pradesh we’re building. A state where talent matters more than geography. We don’t ask where you’re from. We ask what you can build.
Be proud of your roots. But never let state borders limit opportunity. Andhra Pradesh isn’t defined by where you’re from. It’s defined by what we build together.” The statement from Lokesh said as he reacted to a social media post about regional conflict.
It has always been skill and potential that draw the global technology but it appears that Kavita is against this principal as she has regional reservations on this matter. But Lokesh is more inclusive and understanding in nature as he made it clear that AP everyone regardless of their regions, if they can promise and deliver technical enhancement.
