After being in an absolute position of power for five years between 2019 to 2024, YSR Congress is currently facing existential crisis in Andhra Pradesh after getting limited to just 11 seats in Assembly. But even to this day, Jagan appears to be ignorant of the main drawback of the previous YCP administration.
Jagan was entirely focused on welfare and direct money transfer programs while administration and development activities were left for a toss. This had a detrimental effect on social infrastructure and roadway projects which were clearly pointed out by the public in the 2024 mandate.
But even to this day, Jagan is of the implication that he did not do anything wrong and feels that his welfare programs deserve a better public mandate. He and his men are ignorant of the fact that public wanted more than just welfare for DBT schemes.
However, Janasena president Pawan Kalyan appears to be more evolved in this aspect as he has rightly pointed out the biggest blunder by Jagan and his government.
Pawan Kalyan pointed out that a clear example of welfare oriented government, unable to sustain is the previous YCP administration. He stated that focusing only on welfare while leaving administration and development to air will have lethal consequences and the best example of that is Jagan’s misrule.
It is interesting to note that Jagan himself is yet to come to terms with his biggest mistake during his previous time as the CM, but Kalyan has a perfect assessment of this. The lack of adequate political approach is blatantly evident here.
