One of the most inspiring stories in Indian political strategic planning department has been that of Prashant Kishor. He had worked on several historical successful campaigns, including that of YS Jagan and briefly with Thalapathy Vijay, and several others in the past.
However, the talented political strategist had been looking to make his own political debut for the last few years, but things are not going smooth. He launched Suraj party in Bihar, but his party did not win a single seat while he refrained from contesting.
However, the latest developments are suggesting that PK could be making his political debut very soon as he could be contesting the Bankipur constituency in New Patna.
This constituency is historically represented by the BJP, and it was recently vacated by Nithin Nabin who resigned as an MLA and got nominated as Rajya Sabha member. This constituency had been voting for BJP since 1995, and the domination has been relentless.
Speaking on this matter, PK has commented that he is focused on reducing BJP’s dominance in Bankipur and said he himself would contest the seat if needed.
This could be the first real attempt from PK to become an MLA for the first time in his career, but this is not going to be easy considering the BJP domination here. Moreover, the Jan Suraj party had already been rejected by the people of Bihar, so expecting a favorable result for PK could be an outcry at this point. But funnier things have happened in politics so we shall see if PK can throw a surprise.
