Lokesh Hits Back At Jagan With Solid Numbers!

One of the infamous practises that is often implied by YS Jagan’s YSR Congress in Andhra Pradesh is spreading of misinformation and false narratives. The NDA failed in countering this in 2019, which had devastating consequences but it appears that they’re much more prepared and consolidated now.

Earlier today, Jagan posted an allegation about school cooks and related job cuts as he said CM
Chandrababu is playing a dangerous game with the lives of nearly 85,000 elder sisters who cook midday meals in government schools.

Many of them have been working for over 20 years. Now, under the guise of “smart kitchens,” he’s scheming to fill the bellies of his party workers while leaving these women out in the cold, Jagan alleges.

This was a pretty serious allegation that was made by Jagan and it was quickly countered by Lokesh with consolidated numbers and factual information.

In YSR Kadapa district, we’ve taken up five smart kitchens as a pilot project. The 233 cook-cum-helpers working in these schools are carrying out their duties as usual.

Not a single job has been affected in the scope of the other 33 smart kitchens that are to be set up in the district.

On top of that, through the operation of smart kitchens, we’re providing additional employment to 38 head cooks, 22 assistant cooks, 256 helpers, and about 76 drivers for self-help group women, Lokesh stated.

About the allegation of not paying salaries, Lokesh replied “Jagan garu accused us of not paying salaries with the setup of smart kitchens, but in YSR Kadapa district, we’ve fully paid honorariums to all 3,450 cook-cum-helpers working there up to April 2026.”

It is good that Lokesh had a quick and timely reaction to Jagan or else this fabricated narrative could have been spread all over by now.
