The former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Ys Jagan had an explosive conference with the Media today, and he was characteristically aggressive with the same. He made a series of highly intriguing comments on the contemporary political events in Andhra Pradesh.
The first explosive comment from Jagan came against deputy CM Pawan Kalyan as he labelled the latter as a side character. He gave the implication that Kalyan is inconsequential in Andhra Pradesh politics, and he is just a partner for Chandrababu who does not have any political ideology as such.
This was followed by another strong comment from the former CM regarding the law and order situation in Andhra Pradesh, as he said AP is worse than Bihar and is exhibiting jungle raj.
Jagan later took the occasion to even bring senior NTR into the discussion as he said “Chandrababu would label even senior NTR as rowdy sheeter if he was alive today and questioned Babu’s atrocious performance. Anyone who questions Chandrababu gets labelled as a rowdy.”
The former CM then cleverly twisted the narrative towards Amaravati as he said he is not against this region as such, but he is firmly against the injustice done to the local farmers here.
This was a clear attempt from Jagan to divert the recent criticism that he got when his representatives Perni Nani and Devineni Avinash were thrashed by the Amaravati farmers recently.
