Andhra Pradesh politics have been witnessing an interesting transition period after the 2024 election as the bonding between TDP lead by Chandrababu and Janasena lead by Pawan Kalyan is growing thicker and stronger than ever. The mistakes that were made before the 2019 election are being rectified and prevented at a different capacity now.
Interestingly, a new topic of discussion has opened up to this effect, and it involves TDP firebrand Chintamaneni Prabhakar and Janasena president Pawan Kalyan. Before the 2019 election, there was a misunderstanding between them and certain words were exchanged.
But the good thing is that both Prabhakar and Pawan found great rapport later and they exhibited this in the 2024 election. In fact, Prabhakar was even ready to sacrifice his seat and allocate it to Pawan Kalyan, if needed. Even Pawan Kalyan publicly said he will do everything he can to help, Chintamani Prabhakar win.
Now, for the first time, Prabhakar has opened up on this matter with Gulte.com, as he said what happened before 2019 is a classic case of misunderstanding between him and Kalyan.
“Certain people disguised Pawan Kalyan, and claimed to be my supporters while creating disturbance at his place. A letter clarified to him that I had nothing to do with this, and we have been on great term since then.” Prabhakar said.
This was followed by another question about Prabhakar, losing the 2019 election, which was a very surprising result considering his great track record. He honestly said this was due to the Janasena factor as the split in votes damaged his prospect which helped YCP. He added that the very same Janasena votes rescued and help him return to power in 2024.
It is good to see you two of the firebrand leaders associated with the alliance who earlier had bad bond between them rectifying what happened in the past and sharing an exceptionally good bonding now.
