Balineni Trying To Bring Cracks Between Janasena & TDP?

Both Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan had been repeatedly emphasising on the need to uphold the spirit of the alliance. They have been making it extremely clear that anyone who tries to disrupt the harmony of the alliance will have to face the consequences.

But there are these occasional incidents where leaders are indulging in slightly odd verbal talk which is leading to complex conversations. A similar scenario has come up with Balineni Srinivasa Reddy now.

After moving from the YCP to Janasena, Srinivasa Reddy had been trying to get close with deputy CM Pawan Kalyan by praising him to the sky. But he did something uninvited the other day, which appeared to be coming off as verbal attempt to bring cracks between Janasena and TDP.

Speaking about the upcoming local body election, Srinivasa Reddy said TDP must suspend its candidates if they contest in the local body seats that are allocated for JSP. “ If any TDP leader contests on party ticket or as an independent in the seat allocated to JSP, he/she must be suspended immediately by the party.”

Srinivasa might honest intentions about JSP but these comments aren’t to be made in the public. These are sensitive topics that need to be discussed behind closer to the doors between the big heads of the two parties. Needless to say, such public commentary would only ignite the ego of both party members.

At the end of the day, TDP is always going to be the bigger party and managing its leaders is a task and half. So any kind of disproportionate comments on this cadre oriented party isn’t good for alliance sanctity at the ground level.

Being a senior leader, Balineni must have a clear understanding of this scenario and should’ve refrained from such a comment, unless of course he’s trying to cause a split in the alliance at his own capacity.
