The recent arrest of one of the most corrupt police officers in Telangana police cadre, Bheem Reddy, who used to operate as a DSP is one of the main topics of discussion in the state now. This corrupt police officer is believed to have amassed over Rs 1000 crore in assets in his tenure.
Now it is being established that a reputed Telugu hero is also named in this case file regarding this corrupt police officer.
Apparently, this mainstream hero, who primarily does family oriented films allegedly got into an agreement with Bheem Reddy for the sale of his plot in Manikonda region of Hyderabad.
The agreement was such that the Hero must sell his piece of land to the DSP in exchange for a significant amount of money. This transaction was reportedly established in the diary that was being maintained by Reddy, where he entered all the illegal operations he had been doing.
Reportedly this police officer had paid ₹3 crore advance to the Telugu Hero. But now that he has been arrested, this transaction could be kept on hold while the hero could be sweating about the outcome of this case. For now, the name of the hero has not been released.
The investigation authorities have found out that this corrupt DSP had entered more than 60 transactions in this diary alone, and there could be more in the beckoning. It turns out to be that he is one of the most wealthy police officers in the state or perhaps even across India as such are his illegal acquisitions.
