The arrest and subsequent judicial remand of highly controversial Telugu YouTuber, Prashna Ravan has become a major optic in Andhra Pradesh politics for the last few days. Now it has reached a political equilibrium.
YSR Congress Party desperately tried to project Ravan as a TDP supporter by sharing his earlier videos criticizing Jagan and the YSR Congress as evidence. However, TDP quickly debunked the claim and turned the narrative back against YSR Congress.
It turns out to be that advice, Ysr Congress has bitten itself where it hurts the most in this issue. A public statement showed by Ambati Rambabu at the conference where he said Jagan assured full legal support to Ravan has now started to go viral.
It is evident that YSR Congress is completely confused on how to deal with this issue as one day they say Raavan is a TDP sympathiser and next day, they’re saying Jagan had promised full legal support to the latter.
The point of difference here is the Ravan has gained a lot of public negativity for his divisive communal activities, and his arrest is being fully approved by the public. Subsequently, the YSR Congress ecosystem which tried to gain sympathy from this has started the blame game to push him as TDP sympathiser.
But things getting hit back as YCP leaders themselves have spoken in his support. As a result, YCP played all possible cards in this scenario and still ended up getting the bulk of the blame on their own selves.
