Revanth Vows on Lord Ram, Congress Will Win in 2029

Indian politics are preparing for a very crucial change in mechanism starting very soon, and the repercussions are likely to be felt at multiple levels. Now this was confirmed by Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy as well.

In his latest public meeting today, Revanth Reddy dropped not one but two significant announcements regarding the upcoming election campaign in Telangana.

The chief minister confirmed that Telangana will not go to election in 2028 December, but instead in May 2029, along with the rest of the country. He confirmed that the next election will be held after the number of constituencies is increased as a part of the delimitation process.

This is a pretty big announcement from the Telangana chief minister at a time when the South Indian states are debating and discussing the upcoming election campaign in the country.

Displaying strong confidence, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy vowed before Lord Sri Rama of Bhadrachalam that the Congress will return to power in 2029. He claimed the party would win 117 of the proposed 182 constituencies after delimitation and that he would become Chief Minister once again.

This adds a completely new dynamic to the Telangana political atmosphere, which is already heated up with a triangular fight between the Congress, BJP and BRS.
