For the last few decades, it has become a famous practice for the unemployed Telugu youth from AP to travel to neighbouring cities like Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai for employment opportunities.
This got elevated further when Andhra Pradesh became a state without a capital as this resulted in a lack of capital growth and investment opportunities for employment creation.
However, IT Minister Lokesh has made it very clear that Telugu youth need not travel to other cities for employment opportunities from now on as strong measures are being taken to enhance the employment situation in AP.
Lokesh said Andhra Pradesh is witnessing substantial economic growth, and this will continue for the next three years. He confirmed that Andhra Pradesh will come to such a position that none of the youth from the state will have to migrate to other cities as we will have a strong ecosystem here.
This was followed by another confident statement from Lokesh as he said AP witness, such substantial growth that youth from other cities could be coming to Andhra for employment opportunities.
This is a technically backed statement from Lokesh as mega companies like Google, IBM, Microsoft, TCS, and others had been lining up to invest in Andhra. This will create surplus job opportunities in major cities, like Tirupati, Amaravati, Vizag, and others.
Along with the software boom, Andhra Pradesh is also focusing on renewable energy and automobile engineering, which will create more physical jobs for the working class as well. This is the kind of proactive approach that can lead Andhra Pradesh from this situation, and that is precisely what Lokesh has promised.
