CBN & Lokesh’s Timely Response to the Atrocious Guntur Incident

The NDA government in Andhra Pradesh has been repeatedly emphasising on women safety and social order maintenance. But there have been certain incidents that have been rattling the system every now and again.

In this connection, something extremely shocking and antisocial has happened in Guntur where a woman was brutally assaulted on road.

This incident happened after a woman from Krishnababu region in Guntur was subject to extreme atrocity when she was filling water from a nearby facility. A man, who is allegedly projected as a local TDP leader had attacked the lady atrociously and his Sister stripped her naked on the road.

This horrifying issue has immediately reached the attention of the TDP leadership and the likes of Nara Lokesh and CM Chandrababu have reacted to the same. In fact, CM Babu who is outrightly furious with the situation has ordered immediate action on the concerned culprit regardless of his political affiliations.

The chief minister stated a short while back “I am deeply disturbed by the incident reported from Guntur. The humiliation of any woman is completely unacceptable and has no place in our society.

I have ordered immediate and stringent action. A criminal case has been registered, the accused has been arrested, and the party functionary involved is being suspended.”

Shocking incidents like these must be dealt with such steadfast and outright corrective measures that anyone in the future must shake with fear even if this thought strikes their mind. So it is essential that Babu and his administration set a very strong precedent here.

It is antisocial activities like these that destroyed the previous Jagan administration in AP and hence, it is the duty of the NDA government to actively advocate against this with appropriate action.
