BJP Hater Prakash Raj’s Vote Deleted In SIR?

The election commission of India has been actively carrying out the SIR procedure as a part of which they have been refining the voter list across the country. Several invalid votes have been getting removed by this procedure, and there are a few miscalculations where even valid votes are being removed.

In this connection, we have the case of veteran actor and politician Prakash Raj, who has come out and claimed that his vote has been deleted by the Election Commission. He is widely known for his strong opposition to the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, both ideologically and politically.

Prakash Raj has claimed that his name was deleted from the voter list following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). He said he was born and educated in Bengaluru and had even contested the Lok Sabha election from the constituency but his vote has been removed now.

The fact that Prakash Raj, who was born and raised in this constituency and also happened to contest from here as a member of Parliament had his vote removed is raising concerns on the whole procedure.

But at the same time, this process can obviously have mistakes and the election commission has been prompting the public to make sure that their votes are still registered. They’re fairly educational about the process which is aimed at cutting down invalid and fraud votes in the country.

So Prakash Raj can easily have his access to the voting card established upon information to the election commission. But instead, he has decided to enlighten everyone about what is happening and perhaps rightly so too.
