Amaravati Seed Access Road: Why Is It So Important?

The capital of Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati is progressing at a very quick pace under the NDA government after facing a financial crisis before 2024. The capital region is receiving significant push with regard to social infrastructure and connectivity.

The stage is set for the launch of the seed access road in the capital region which will be a game changer with regard to the roadway connectivity.

The Seed Access Road (E3) is emerging as a major connectivity corridor for Amaravati, linking key locations and strengthening access across the capital city.

Stretching 21.77 km across three phases, the corridor integrates road connectivity with BRTS, dedicated cycle tracks, sidewalks, green belts and essential utility infrastructure. This is going to be one of the hallmark projects associated with Amaravati capital city

The Amaravati Seed Access Road is a key 21 km corridor connecting Dondapadu with Undavalli and onward towards Vijayawada’s NH-16/Kanakadurga Varadhi side. It passes through Venkatapalem and links the capital core with N4 and other internal roads. Its completed links and upcoming extensions are expected to improve access to Amaravati, reduce travel bottlenecks and support future administrative and commercial growth.

This roadway connectivity project is going to be officially launched by the government tomorrow August 13 and chief Minister Chandrababu himself communicated this earlier today.

This is coming shortly after the Andhra Pradesh High Court has cleared the way for construction of the Seed Access Road in Amaravati by dismissing two petitions challenging the land acquisition notification issued for the project.
