Story Behind The ‘S’-Shaped Curve On Seed Access Road

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had inaugurated the second phase of the ‘Seed Access Road’ today. This Road will serve as the backbone of Amaravati’s transport system.

Additionally, CRDA officials handed over the keys of the newly constructed residences for MLAs and MLCs built with state-of-the-art amenities to the Chief Minister.

The visuals of the Seed Access Road were released by the Government and YSR Congress Social Media immediately sprung into the action.

There is an S-shaped curve in the road and YSR Congress started a propaganda that the road was bent to spare the properties of the Rich from Land Acquisition. The government had issued an official clarification to address these.

“As part of Phase-3 of the Seed Access Road project, a major road corridor is to be constructed to connect with the Vijayawada-Chennai National Highway (NH-16) near Manipal Hospital. The current Seed Access Road was constructed by taking into account the requirements for this future corridor, as well as geographical conditions, connectivity needs, and traffic management.

The Seed Access Road was developed with the primary objective of providing better road connectivity between the capital city, Amaravati, and the Mangalagiri and Vijayawada areas, while also reducing traffic congestion on the Karakatta (river embankment) road.

Therefore, the ‘S’-shaped curves on the Seed Access Road should be viewed in the context of the future road corridor construction, connectivity requirements, and the comprehensive traffic management plan,” the Government clarified.

It is good that Government is not taking anything easy pertaining to Amaravati.

YSR Congress always makes sure that it uses Amaravati to create animosity in the people of other areas. Good that the Government and CRDA immediately clarified to avoid the Propaganda.
