Jagan Desperately Brining Caste Angle Into YCP Arrests?

There are many complaints about the abnormal and antisocial activities is committed by few YCP leaders back when YS Jagan was the chief minister of the state. They are facing the consequences under the NDA government and understandably so too.

However, Jagan has been employing a very odd strategy when it comes to defending these YCP leaders who are facing the Police and judicial action.

Jagan was in Kurnool today to visit jailed YCP MLA Virupakshi who was caught on camera allegedly assaulting TDP local leaders. Shortly, after meeting the MLA inside the jail, Jagan came out and had a set of comments to make.

Jagan brought the caste equation angle into the argument while addressing the media and it sounded incoherent to the point where social media users are starting to ridicule the same.

Jagan said the Chandrababu government is using its power to suppress economically weaker sections, while attempting to appeal to members of the BC community through the remark.

This has immediately triggered many social media users as they’re pointing out that crime and antisocial activities do not require caste equations. They are questioning if Jagan is believing that people who commit crimes must be released based on caste system.

This is not the first time that Jagan is doing something similar either. Earlier, when he went to visit jailed former minister Sidiri Appala Raju, he made a similar comment. He tried to defend this arrested leader in the name of caste.

The fact that Jagan is bringing this discussion into criminal activities where the arrested people are caught and recorded committing the crimes is becoming very blatant now.
